I purchased these to replace the keyhold inserts in an old secretary desk after it was refinished. I am keeping the old ones and throwing these new ones away! while the face looks flat, the back side that rests against the surface is not flat and it rocks back & forth. And, the sleeve that lines the inside of the keyhole is not long enough and is tapered inward. This product is flimsy and needs a longer sleeve . I will be looking elsewhere for these.

Photo shows this item as silver, but it is shiny brass. also a bit flimsy and the screws are smaller than the holes left by the previous drawer pull. Am returning these items.

wish you had a greater range in lengths of No. 10 Oval Head wood screws. The length needed are 2 1/2" long or even a 2.0" long.

this is a good key , but if the rolltop is really old you should get the other keyblank that is fully bitted on both sides, ive found that the lock itself is worn and this key trys and do its job but cant quite because someone has tried useing other tools , paper clips ect to force open the rolltop...

Just got these in the mail today. Not terribly impressed by what I see, knobs are very small, edge of the knob is kinda sharp. Guess you get what you pay for and these were pretty cheap and thats exactly what they are, cheap.

Kennedy had the best price by far, and shipped very quickly, but the bolts are not exactly as advertised. They are 5 3/8" long, not 6". The nuts are oversized and threaded off-center. I went to the local hardware store to get replacement nuts and found the bolts are not 16tpi and not metric. They are 3/8's by 14tpi and no stock nuts will fit. I will make do with the bolts and grind down the nuts to fit my project.

You need to add another set of hinges, parts don't add up right for a 2 dr. caabinet.

Bought this set in hopes that at least ONE of the keys would fit a tall secretary/bookcase I bought at auction.
First tried some in the glass doors on the bookshelf on top. Yay, found a match! Then tried the same key on the roll top desk part - no luck, so tried a few more and YAY again, found another match.
Then, tried both keys in the bottom drawers - no luck, but kept trying - and found ANOTHER match! 3 different keys needed for this ONE piece - and they were all on this ring!
