Embossed Trunk Tin with Scrollwork Pattern (foot)

Embossed metal was mainly used on trunks during the 1870's and 1880's.  Our metal for antique trunk restoration embossed under very high pressure, giving the metal great detail in the floral/scrollwork pattern.

Hardware Tip: Trunk tin was used on a lot of traveling trunks. It will patina quite nicely.
