Offset Hinges

When mounting a door on a piece of furniture, like a Hoosier Cabinet, an offset hinge is often required. The モoffsetヤ is the difference in height from the cabinet frame to the door surface. On antiques, the offset is typically 3/8メメ. That means the door surface is 3/8メメ out from the cabinet surface. This is an industry standard for antiques and all of our hinges in this category will have that offset.
