Hip Huggers, Spindles & High Chair Parts

Hip Huggers are made of steam-bent oak dowels. The steam bending process makes the parts much stronger and eliminates splitting under stress. They connect the chair back to the seat and add great strength to the chair. Our hip huggers are unfinished and unshaped. They can be installed as is by screwing them into the back and seat or they can be contoured to the unique shape of your chair. We also offer chair spindles to build or repair chair backs.
